Hello Beauties!! How ya doin? Good.
I love “My Favorite Thing” posts that other people put up because I love hearing about new products and what people think of them. So, I’m gonna do my own! I’ve got 5 health and beauty items that I’m totally diggin’ these days, so let’s get started…
La Senza No Show Panties
These undies are the bomb. They are multi-functional, super comfortable and they live up to their name. These are my go-to workout panty for under my leggings. Whether I’m jogging or lifting weights, they stay in place and you don’t see underwear lines. They come in a variety of colors and styles. My two favourite styles are the thong panty and the brazilian panty.
Vega Protein + Snack Bars
I’ve been buying the Vega Sport Protein Bars in Peanut Butter Chocolate and Chocolate Coconut for a while to hit my chocolate fix. I occasionally like something sweet with my afternoon coffee or in the evening after dinner. I take one of these bars and cut it in half and have it in lieu of higher sugar options. These are also great to throw in your bag for a pre or post-workout snack if you’re on the go and won’t get a meal in right away. Chocolate Caramel is my favorite flavor of these.
Dermalogica Hydrablur Primer
I just started using this little gem again a month or so ago and I was reminded why I love it so much!! This primer is fantastic. It has skin tint technology, so it blends to your skin tone upon application. I do my usual skincare routine in the morning. After moisturizing, I dab a small amount of primer on my cheeks, nose and forehead, work it into the skin and let it sit while I make my coffee. I then apply my makeup and the effect is incredible. Not only is the the application is FLAWLESS, but my makeup stays put for the entire day. I’m a huge Dermalogica fan. If you want more information about this line go and see Alisa at Bliss Spa & Salon. She is a Dermalogica guru and can set you up with an amazing skincare routine.
Smashbox Step-By-Step Contour Stick Trio
I love me some contour!! I had been using a drugstore brand contour stick and was noticing some breakouts in the area that I was using it, so I wanted to switch things up. I have Smashbox’s #shapematters Palette and love the colours they have for contour and highlight but it being winter and my skin is dry AF, I wanted a more fluid texture so I opted to try the contour stick trio. I purchased these from Shoppers Drug Mart. They come with a pencil sharpener and a instructional tutorial for how to apply contour based on your face shape. Smashbox also has several video tutorials for contouring on their website, sephora or the Shoppers Drug Mart website. It’s important to find the right shade for contouring. These sticks are fairly neutral, meaning they don’t have overly warm or cool tones to them. They are literally pencils, so application is easy.
I bought these bad boys from Costco. These come 2 to a pack. They are 800ml, have with a blender ball, the lids screw off and the mouth piece also had a lid that screws off. I’ve tried a few different water bottles and these are by far my favorite. I like being able to remove the lids to clean them really well. I also like when the lids completely come off and the opening is wide so that I can easily add thing to my water like lemon wedges, BCAA’s or whatever and not make a big mess.
I hope you enjoyed this post. If you have questions about other products I’m using, please don’t hesitate to contact me with your questions! I love letting people know about great products that make life a little more awesome!!
