I train 6 days a week.
The words “gym” and “workout” are commonplace in our home.
For a while, my conscience struggled to guiltlessly embrace time in the #gym because it also meant time away from my children and it occasionally felt “selfish.”
I have worked on and curtailed those feelings by clearly defining my #values and continually adapting my schedule to balance family and crossfit.
🗓Planning ahead is fundamental.
✅Flexibility is essential.
🗝Steadfast commitment no matter what circumstances arise, is key.
Everyday isn’t smooth but, challenging never = impossible.
When I keep my commitments to my #kids AND to myself, I’m showing my children that I’m a woman who does what she says she’s going to do. 👸🏻

is a phrase I often hear them say.
My kids see me as STRONG.
They see THEMSELVES as #strong
I’m proud of this.
Both my son and my daughter are gaining a unique perspective and set of beliefs…
